I always liked the lesser known song 'Shiek' for its wah-wah pedal action in Quad.

Checking out your list, didn't know about that Spanish SQ of
Alcatraz El Vuelo del Alcatraz (looks like a fairly low rating though.)

musically a funky one (in a good way!) and the SQ disc sounded nice but Quadraphonically-speaking i don't remember it being particularly Surround-y

I've been following this thread and was wondering if any Linda Ronstadt albums were recorded/released in Quad? I know she was with Warners/Asylum for awhile.

My mistake.... ZZ TOP have sold the rights to their Catalogue to BMG in 2021.
According to Variety Magazine.

So that means Sony has the quad rights to Tres Hombres, ( and Fandango )

There may be a big fly in the ointment though and i hate to think about it........if Universal had the quad tapes in their faulty Vault ?...well you know the rest...

The catalog had moved to Warners by that time. A miracle must have indeed happened ok.

I had , some years back, the Best Of Z Z TOP DTS DVD (Video collection).....now that one I can vouch for on Warner Brothers, WB label , i think, was poor in surround ...so I resold it.

I’m trying to imagine 4 Quad titles from the WEA catalog I WOULD NOT buy on blu-ray.
They would have to try pretty hard to keep my credit card at bay

From the website posted earlier in this thread, I saw The Doors listed. I’m not a fan in any way which I imagine puts me in a small group.

But I would be tempted to grab it, so much is my respect and appreciation for what was done with Chicago and the Doobie Brothers.

Honestly - if Rhino said they were starting a subscription service to mine the WEA Quad Archives on Blu-Ray, but they needed to reach a critical mass of subscribers, my hand would be up in a hurry!
