I presume he might have to go back to it to create an Atmos mix, but MAKE IT HAPPEN!
My only request regarding the Dolby Atmos Blu-rays - please set the (required) Dolby Digital 5.1 downmix data rate at 640kbps for maximum fidelity (I currently listen to this DD 5.1 downmix on Dolby Atmos releases due to using a 20 year old receiver).

Thought it was already done, just not a physical disc available?A new surround mix of "Wildflowers" would make my year.

I joked about it in another thread here, but I would love for Rhino to experiment a bit and release some Cheech & Chong or National Lampoon in surround/Atmos.
That could be really unique and FUN! Can you imagine Ear Ache My Eye in Atmos? Sister Mary Elephant? Trip....
You know.... that never even occurred to me but some of those old comedy albums (Firesign Theater, Cheech & Chong, National Lampoon) would definitely be an excuse to go crazy in Atmos. You could have things flying all over the place. Could be wild.
I've heard the Quad versions of Bozos On This Bus and Everything You Know Is Wrong on some YouTube channel lately. The fidelity was sorely lacking but gave an idea of how cool they could be in pristine form.

Amen to Firesign Theater in surround...who has those quad masters. Gotta wonder though is there an audience for them today.

Looking at Apple Music, the classic late 60's/early 70's Firesign Theater stuff is distributed by Sony. However there is some later material that is distributed by Warner.
Rhino distributes the Classic Cheech & Chong material.
Very little of National Lampoon's stuff is streaming, and what is, isn't on Warner.

Now that RHINO has taken the initiative to revitalize their QUADIO releases and NOW, newly remixed BD~As in ATMOS, will others like SONY and UMG follow suit.
Wasn't it UMG who boasted that they were on target to remix at least 1K of their releases in ATMOS?
How 'bout some singles compilations [like 60's,70's, 80's and 90's themed] in ATMOS with extended play times on BD~A ......
Used to LOVE all those Warner Samplers available in the early 70's on double LPs
which used to sell for peanuts and were available through Rolling Stone Mag!

Or available on the inner sleeve of the Warner LPs.
Let’s not forget that Rhino was also the king of singles compilation sets like “Have A Nice Day”, “Didn’t It Blow Your Mind” and “Just Can’t Get Enough”. Love to see sets like those in Atmos!
