Van Morrison hated the 2013 deluxe release of Moondance. It didn't get his blessing at all.

Does Warner also still own Tupelo Honey and Astral Weeks, too?

That's what I thought originally, and many here would agree..BUT...

However he likes the surround mix Schiener did with drums in the rear , and his comment was why not do it all that way.
This comment by Van to Elliot is according to the recent interview with Jonathan .So at some point he warmed up to the redo.
At least that's what I read , maybe I read too much into that interview??

Long shot here but is it possible one of them is Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots?

The atmos mix appeared on streaming today, and the band has teased a physical version a while back:

The only thing that gives me pause is the prominent placement of the Warner Records logo. I just checked the Rhino atmos discs I do have and Moondance and Rumours have it… on the back, not the front

Yup. That's at the top of my wish list. Mirage and the 1975 self-titled LP also. All are streaming in Atmos but the 5.1's have only been released on lossy DD.

Now..... @ForagingRhino ..... since you gave us hints about the Quadio releases.... Can you give us a hint or two here?

:51QQ
I was very happy with Batch #1 - would love to start seeing hints on batch #2

Great list, Fizzy......and might I add

James Taylor:

SWEET BABY JAMES

MUD, SLIDE, SLIM & THE BLUE HORIZON

FLEETWOOD MAC: BARE TREES [with Sentimental Lady]

Ok, Ralphie , and thanks for reminding me about the early Mac.

So @4-earredwonder ............Fleetwood Mac Albatross ,

From Pious Bird Of Good Omen , As well please! A twofer Best Of Early Mac.

You know what ? I might be in dreamland but, ...I kinda think Sweet Baby James might just go the way of Joni Mitchell 's box set , as a new quad mix , to complete a quad boxs of James Taylor's quads ...3 plus 1=4 Quadios

...but the Bob Welch version, which he recorded after leaving FM was the much more popular one.
Although, it's really more like FM re-recorded it since I think most of them are either on the record or produced it.

Am I off-base for assuming that batch #2 will consist of Atmos albums/content already available on the streaming platforms?

While The Doors Best Of was not on streaming, per se, I think all tracks were otherwise previously available. Was FM “Silver Spring” the only new material from batch #1?

my fantasy batch #2 would be;

Chic (Steven Wilson Atmos mix Compilation or 5 album compendium),

Grateful Dead "American Beauty" (Steven Wilson Atmos mix, 5.1 Mickey Hart mix),

Sister Sledge "We Are Family" (Steven Wilson Atmos),

Carly Simon "No Secrets" (Frank Filipetti Atmos, Frank Filipetti 5.1 DVD-A mix, Quad)

You couldn't take my money fast enough for this grouping!

How 'bout some Donna Summers who Steve Wilson has always admired?

She worked hard for the $$$$$ and I'm sure would work even harder in ATMOS?

Donna Summer's catalogue's with Universal, there's only a mere handful of her tracks streaming in Atmos at present and none of them were mixed by Steven Wilson. 🤷🏻‍♀️

apart from that, it's a green light all the way for a Rhino Blu-ray release of Donna Summer! 😂✌️🥳
