Unless you are 100% sure that you can find a CREDIBLE source that says it is not mixed in 5.1, then your GUESS is as good as anyone else's as to what is actually on this disc.

Not sue I would take a univesal sit that seriously given they had a Nick Drake HFPA disc with 5.1 Upf for months before the project was cancelled
I just noticed over at SA-CD.net that the Genesis Blu-ray audio releases of "Trespass" & "Foxtrot" are down as Stereo only, I hope not!

@: can you imagine the uproar if Universal make these Genesis BDA's Stereo only after the likes of Diana Krall & Layla came out on HFPA without their 5.1 mixes!? :yikes

I have highlighted to sa-cd.net that the Black sabbath is highly unlikely to be 5.1 - the response wa s - they'll leave it as-is and wait and see when it comes out.

The Black Sabbath 13 in 5.1 comes from info on one of the European Universal sites. It's not out of the realm of possibility, I suppose - what will be more interesting is if the mastering is the DR5 one from the CD, or the DR10 one from the vinyl. Expecting the former but hoping for the latter..
What other upcoming HFPA titles are on that European site, Dave?
I can't remember now, it was you or someone on here who found it - wasn't it one of the Scandi countries? I'm thinking Finland or something like that and there was one other HFPA by a local band on it.

Yeah, I think the reason there is some hope is that the red audio group on HFPA BluRays is usually used for 5.1 tracks. So it's obviously not guaranteed by any means, but not discounted either.
Coming to HFPA Blu-ray end of May (stereo only I'm guessing) Gregory Porter's "Liquid Spirit"..

Now if they would simply disclose if they are multi channel or not.....
Simple Minds and "A Farewell to Kings" definitely are, and I think there's at least a 73% chance the same can be said for Bon Jovi and Marvin Gaye, cause after all surround mixes of these albums have already been released, so nothing new here under the sun.
The other four discs towards the top will most likely be stereo only.
Would be nice if the sellers would provide that information, it really pisses me of that you can't find that information on the sellers website. :howl
