I believe this is the first Foghat release in surround ever. And another unreleased Quad as well. Foghat “Live” was a huge “Double Platinum” 2 million seller in the 1970s. This Quadio has the two songs in their original studio versions that ended up on the “Live” album. “Home In My Hand” and “Honey Hush.”

My apologies if this has been asked and answered already as I haven't been keeping up with the forums - in fact the only reason I knew these were releasing today was I randomly checked in earlier this week. Anyway, my question is, is the Doobies disc the same as the one in the box set, or is it a different master? Just not sure whether I should order the bundle or just the other three. Thanks!

Steve mentioned in post #696 that the mastering is the same as the box set. The only difference is that with this release, the menu uses the album cover. So, if one has missed a Quadio title in the past, you can add that to get the bundle price. Don’t forget the promo code. At least that’s my understanding of it. A lot of folks missed out on the box set.

Thanks. I do have the box set, now I have to decide if my OCD is worth $25 :) (I have the Doobies box, every bundle so far, and the Chicago box which I was fortunate enough to look for at just the right time as I was beyond broke when it was available new and is one of my favorite bands. I also have the Joni Mitchell box which I don't think I've even opened yet as I had to pack up and move as soon as it arrived.)

I'm going to order the 3 new ones as I have the Doobies Box Set, but I'm going to wait until next Friday 25th when the extra special release is happening and I can limit the P&P cost
That's what I'm considering, since only going for 1 or 2 from this bundle, so may wait for the 10-25 one. Has the 10-25 title been confirmed yet? I think some were thinking or hoping it would be Muscle of Love ;)

My OCD virtually demands I buy Toulouse.
If the other three come out as single discs too I’ll probably buy them then sell the box set

Well I just ordered the bundle from Warner Music Canada, pre-order date November 15th.

There is a ten per cent discount, but I had to ask for it in my notes. It shouldn't be a problem as it worked for me once previously.

It's going to be such a great listen to Foghat Energized , which btw is the only Bearsville quad in the vault . No Todd Rundgren I'm afraid to say , (unless some miracle occurs , not too likely though)

Anyway two unreleased quads makes this an amazing collective bundle. I had Jefferson Starship Dragon Fly in Quadradisc, all 3 in fact, and I know I'll appreciate it all over again.

That now leaves three unreleased quads left to satisfy our new quad curiosity
Those being James Taylor In The Pocket, Dionne Warwick Track Of The Cat, and Rod Stewart Atlantic Crossing.

And of course there remains the opportunity for Audio Engineers to try their magic at mixing a WEA 70's Classic in quad . I'm hoping for some like these to occur , a BIG Surprise of New Quad .I'm sure we all would love to see more of these , I think.

Anyway thanks so much for this bundle of great rockers , Steve , aka @ForagingRhino

The best part is knowing there are more to come. 😊

I’m convinced that there are at least 8-10 more quad mixed albums (at Warner) in addition to those three which remain unreleased. The names of these other unreleased albums have not for the most part been revealed.

But yes I love this batch and the Foghat is a good unique one.

I'm pretty stoked to hear that Foghat.
