Love is not my kind of music AT ALL, but I absolutely LOVE Forever Changes. Brilliant from beginning to end.

I own 3 different versions as well.

Here's another third album from a band riding the wave of a fantastic one-two punch–and like Forever Changes, this one (imo) is a straight-up MASTERPIECE, bringing the 70's to closure and ringing in the 80's. One of those albums i remember the day i picked it up with my dearest friend at the record co-op at the University of Illinois Chicago (We still called it Circle back then). We listened all day long in the headphone listening lounge, and We haven't stopped listening yet! I have worn through several copies of this beauty. Picked this new pressing up at Squeezebox, and it ROCKS!

Since my daughter got her own place, i've been slowly sending her albums from my collection–ones i know she loves and ones i hope she will come to love. This is one of the first i gave her. I loved it so much when i was in higH school that i wrote my senior research paper about it– over 20 pages of drug-soaked analysis and praise, with MLA citations! Well, now that i'm back on the dark side :devilish:, i had to re-up! It was 55 years ago last May, this album blew the world away . . .
