I signed up to be notified of events. I'm looking at it as a last chance to see concert and willing to travel to experience the pitch-black listening opportunity. For me that means Boston, NY, & Montreal definitely. Philadelphia and possibly Toronto would be in the mix too for this one. The main three are 3 hour drives. Philly and Toronto are 4 & 6 hours respectively.

How far are you willing to travel, if these previews come to your country?

I wouldn't probably travel for this. Wild guess, or a possible option would be Mexico City (1:15 flight distance), or somewhere in Texas (Austin, Houston, Dallas, but all are +8 hour drive). So, I could wait hehe

I noticed that you're from Upstate NY. I studied abroad in Plattsburgh, NY small town next to Lake Champlain.

I am upstate, but south to the Adirondacks. I used to do a lot of work in Plattsburgh. It's a great small city and I love Lake Champlain. My location is great for catching artists. Many come to Saratoga Springs for what it is, and it's not far from many cultural hot spots.

What also makes this a travel worthy experience for me is the possibility of interacting with Steven for a few minutes. Between his own shows and PT, I've seen him 7 times and have never had the chance to say hi. After meeting Bruce Soord and the other members of The Pineapple Thief, I'd like to get the chance to exchange a few words with someone who has so influenced my listening experiences over the past 18 years. He's probably more prickly (Gavin) than Bruce, but so am I.

Not completely “unconfirmed”, just not officially announced yet by SW himself.
I’m sure preorders will begin very soon if the album is indeed still scheduled for a late Sept release

I hope so. This album was unofficially announced in May ‘22 in his autobiography.

Yeah, I think The Future Bites had both PCM and DTS-HD options for the 5.1 mix. As for the sixth option, maybe they printed the binaural Atmos and made that a seperate stream?
