I hope you’re right because that just leaves room to purchase more discs, but I’m guessing it may be closer to what Sgt. Peppers retailed at, for which I paid $117.99 on Amazon.

These boxed sets have been amazing. Great packaging, books, all the out-takes, and surround mixes of some of the most iconic albums by the most significant rock band of all time.

Well worth every penny. I guess it helps that I’m older and not hurting for money, but I can’t imagine getting all that caught up over whether they could be $10 or $20 less. That’s a meh bottle of wine or a good steak for something I’ll keep and enjoy the rest of my life.

I can’t speak for Ryan but I’m only guessing what the pricing may be. Heck, I’d pay $150 - $200 because Abbey Road is worth it. (y)

Surround Music News - The Beatles - Abbey Road in Atmos?!

Special thanks to @fredblue

Wonderful video, Mike.

Wonder if we will get an ATMOS mix of Sgt. Pepper [stand alone BD~A maybe] in the future and of course Let It Be [which is currently being remastered for BD~V re~release] and [wishful thinking] George Harrison's "deSpectorized" version of All Things Must Pass as a future boxset.

Haha. “Stand alone”. Haha.

Unfortunately, I’m not sure it’s possible for All Things Must Pass to be "De-Spectorized". Here's an interesting quote from engineer Paul Hicks, taken from the book in the recent Imagine box set:

If this is true, I don't think any amount of processing (even with today's technology) can remove the Spector studio effects :(

Careful Perp, we don't want to give people in the ivory tower any ideas. What they really should do is give the Abbey Road mix to MD to master along with a new 5.1 of Let It Be and then have him sell it as a two-fer for GBP 11.99! ;)

Splendid idea, AR, except SACD is not capable of 'hosting' an ATMOS mix.

Au Contraire, ar surround. For Let It Be, I can envision a rooftop diorama with little Beatle action figures, instruments in hand ..........with a UHD 4K video with Dolby Atmos Remix and a BD~A with Atmos/5.1/3 RBCDs and a 12" x 12" deluxe hardcovered book in a custom Louis Vuitton tote .......it was their LAST LIVE GIG, after all, and what better way to celebrate than EXCESS!

Image result for let it be rooftop beatles scenes photos

LET IT BE ....... EXPEN$IVE!

And who says that MD has to limit himself to SACD?
