okay AR Surround - we need your Jets to win ! For their own chance of making the playoffs ---and beating Seattle puts the Lions in the WildCard drivers seat

well, that didnt pan out, right AR ? So - to break this down --the Lions versus Packers next weekend is a big game for both teams. The winner will get the final NFC WildCard spot.........

BUT.........( and its a Butt bigger than a Kardashian )

Seattle has to lose !!. They play At Home versus the lowly Rams. I dont see the Seahawks losing this game with what is on the line. The reality ? The Packers Lions game will be fun. But it wont matter much. ( Prayers for Baker Mayfield magic )

It's great to be a Niner fan, I'm on a roll. Raiders where bad ass against us as usual.
San Francisco 49ers are # 2 seed, taking over the Vikings spot. We beat Arizona and Giants beat Eagles we are #1 and all playoffs at home. Can't wait.

Oh, this is the 49th page, all things point to 49ers, win, win, win and big win.

Guys. Im jaded. The Detroit Lions. They most likely will not make the playoffs this year. But, I think ( and I say this every fucking year after a glass or two of the magical blue elixir ) that they have arrived !!! Goff. Team unity. And a Way over -caffeinated Head Coach who will go against the grain. Theyre in the hunt next year. Yup.

Hunny, Im thirsty. Can you pour me a glass of Kool Aid please ? Add some sugar and stir it up.

wait ! I stand corrected. The Packers / Lions game is bigger than I thought. The Packers control their destiny. If the Pack beats Detroit, they automatically get the Wild Card slot even over Seattle --and Detroit, of course. If Seattle wins and Detroit wins, the Seahawks are in. If Detroit wins, and Seattle loses, Detroit is in.

Imbobman ------looks pretty good compared to 5 -6 weeks ago, right ?

I hope the Lions beat the Pack so I can troll their local NJ fans…only outnumbered by the GB Wisconsin fans.

Then I hope that the Seahawks get beaten.

Then I can try injecting another shot of The Blue Kool Aid into my veins again.

I actually drove past a house with both a Bills and a Jets flag. I’ve gotta go there and take a picture of it.

Hey All... I don't know what to say🤔. Wow, I did not expect this to unfold the way that it did. I've got really mixed feelings here... & its not false humility. I really didn't expect much 5 weeks ago.
I had hope in one sense that GB would tank. So Rodgers would move on & the DC Joe Barry would get fired, etc.
The GB/ Minn. game yesterday was by far the best GB played all year. It was a pleasure to watch just from the standpoint of seeing the Vikings get exposed.( no offense to any Vikings fans out these) As Gene said regarding fans feelings, it's just a game & I try to look at it in that perspective.
I don't mind you guys disliking the Packers. It makes for a good rivalry.
Oddly, NFL had no time/ dates for wk. 18 games I'm predicting the Lions/ Packers game gets flexed to SNF on nbc( ...Wish it wouldn't, don't like nite games @ GB). But it should be fun.
I'll be rooting for the Packers. As a fan I have to!
Cbmmm3, your lions are a very good team. I can easily see them winning this game. If GB can't win it, I hope a 1000% the Lions get in over Seattle😀!
I also remember what I said back when, that if it got down to a game #17, that GB may fold like a house of cards. Well now I guess I'll have to take that back. What was I thinking....?

Bills @ Bengals tonight. Oh the anticipation. This feels like going to play the Chiefs.

The playoffs start tonight for both of these teams. Should the Bills win, they still have to get through a the Pats next week at home. NE is playing for a playoff spot and division games are very tough.

The Bills had defined home field advantage as goal #2 for this season. They want KC to come here for a change.

thanks Mark
we shall see what cloth the Lions are cut from. This is a win or go home situation ( well, sorta ) Will we see the same old loser Lions ( i.e 2 weeks ago at Carolina ) ? Or will we see - what I hope - is the new era. The New Lions. Real Lions. Competitive Lions. Super Bowl Champions 2025 Lions

I read an article this afternoon about the five wildcard teams the leading teams don't want to see. They writer listed Green Bay, the Chargers, Jacksonville and the Lions and gave a headline for the main reason and then provided further explanation. Then he got to the fifth team:

"Buccaneers, The Team With Tom Fucking Brady"

https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2023/...ee-wild-card-weekend-packers-jaguars-chargers

ROTFLMAO!!!!!

what bothers me is that they constantly get Prime Time. How many national TV games did they get this year ?
I agree! I also dislike GB in the prime time games. Too much hype...so what does the NFL or networks go an do? Put GB/ Detroit on snf. I called that one😊! I'd have preferred just playing the game @ noon & getting it over with.
LA/ Seattle plays at 3:25pm Sunday. So we'll know beforehand if Detroit can even get in the playoffs with a win.... If they can't do you think they'd just pack it in? ( no pun intended).
Maybe the Lions won't want to know the score?
I notice when the prime time announces call those games, they many times don't actually know the teams that well. They just repeat what their told.
GB is definitely beatable @ home (their record there this yr. is 5-3).
But not this game cbmmm3, sorry bud😥...

yup, you did call it. PrimeTime sucks for me as I get up at 4 thirty AM. This game wont be over until midnight.
Well it may be over sooner - so to speak - when the Lions go in at halftime with a 35 point lead
