Dusty Springfield SACD has been postponed.

My cats, especially my Siamese, Peanut, who throws Glamour Fits if she doesn't get her way, will be so upset - they've simply worshiped Dusty since she went to her reward and it was revealed that she left the bulk of her estate to her cats for their lifelong care in the style to which they had become accustomed.

BTW, I'm not making that up about Dusty - she really did leave everything to her cats - and my Siamese really does throw Glamour Fits, which, for those who don't know is someone, or in this case, a cat, behaving terribly but looking fabulous while doing it. When we play Dusty Springfield's music, Peanut will always come into the room and listen - I guess there's something about her voice she likes - even the Pet Shop Boys "What Have I Done To Deserve This?" Gets her full attention.

Shipped on Wednesday, received today, Friday, from Japan. Got two for less than the price of buying one from Elusive Disc (or one of those other high-priced dealers). And way quicker too. Would you believe Acoustic Sounds is using DHL Global Mail now? Just like Amazon, and just as slow, except that it's $5.95 instead of free.

I'm far from complete with my blog recohan.net... but it already shows if a 5.1 disc is DVD-A, DTS, DD, etc. For the first 200 records. You just have to look into the tags below the entries. I'm adding more discs soon.

These are new SACD reissues from New Century Workshop of Hong Kong and were pressed in Austria. Two more SACD reissues have since been released. However, none of these are listed on sa-cd.net. "Wild Flower", pictured upper left, was previously released on SACD in 2006 (and pressed in HK by Viva Magnetics) and was never added to sa-cd.net.

haha! why thank you kind sir! though it's not nearly as expensive as it could be, the DVD-A was a fiver and the DiMeola SACD £12. it's either a couple of surround discs or a couple of bottles of plonk, the music normally lasts a bit longer and is just as satisfying, if not more so!
