there are two Graham Central Station Warner Brothers Quads Rhino could reissue on Quadio Blu-ray; "Graham Central Station" & "Ain't No Bout A Doubt It", the latter has a really active Surround mix with cool effects and panningHaving recently finished the Sly Stone book, I wondered about Graham Central Station. I didn't listen to them much back in the 70s, but listened a bit on Apple Music today. They certainly have a bit of the Family Stone sound.
I made a connection I hadn’t thought about when I visited Paisley Park a couple of years ago.Having recently finished the Sly Stone book, I wondered about Graham Central Station. I have been a big Fan, and LP & CD buyer, of 'Sly & The Family Stone', 'War', 'Tower of Power', 'EW&F', etc.. for decades.Having recently finished the Sly Stone book, I wondered about Graham Central Station. it's a long time since i played it, i can't remember how it pans out, sorry Ralphie. although i do recall it was one of the WEA Quad 8-track tapes i had to reassign the channels on. i'll dig out my files tomorrow and report backFor R & B how 'bout Aretha LIVE at Fillmore West. Fredblue, how's the discrete mix? Worthy of release?
Late for the Sky was released in CD-4 back in the day, an excellent album and mix by the way, and Running on Empty was released as DVD-ACould Jackson Browne truly be a possibilty? I don't recall any Quad issues.
Would almost give a small body part for "The Pretender". Don't understand why his one mch release did not inspire more? Even his one BD (that I know of/own) was stereo.
Have you heard the quad mix?War's "The World Is A Ghetto"

Had Bloodshot in the special “red vinyl” LP issue back in college!Actually, my other post in this thread was partially a kind of indirect way of asking if the J. Geils/Bloodshot quad mix would be released as a Quadio (maybe in the group after the 2024-01 group).
(it's puzzling that a quad mix would be made and not released [even just as a Q8 tape, which was probably less hassle than making a CD-4 LP])
