Broken record here but adding a few more...
Albums and artist with a rather dense production which I'd love to mix and/or hear in a GOOD discrete ATMOS mix

-ANY Cocteau Twins
-ANY Enya
-ANY Goldfrapp (Especially the unreleased 5.1 of "Black Cherry")
-Def Leppard's "Hysteria"
-ANY Tomita (expanding his already magnificent Quad mixes)

I know I will come up with more pipe dreams, but for now...take it away, girls!

Tomita already has one Atmos Blu-ray...Tale of Genji! Although, the fact we haven't got any more since 2015 is troubling.

Anyway, to add to the list, I would be interested to hear what could be done with any Flaming Lips or Sweet Trip albums.

Sigur Rós - Ágætis byrjun

Such a dense sound on this one. The albums they've already done so far sound great, but IMO this one, Takk, and Kveikur are their magnum opuses..

25th anniversary is in a week, hoping this means a surprise Atmos mix.

This for a change is a new Jazz album which I purchased recently and drew me into it's partly hypnotic music and Jaw dropping sound:

Monika Roscher Bigband - Witchy Activities And The Maple Death

Any COIL,CURRENT 93,SKINNY PUPPY etc
More fusion classics a la Stanley Clarke,Lenny White
More Miles electric funk period
More weird 70's mayhem like MAGMA,UNIVERS ZERO,two bands that are PERFECT for MCH mixing
Any Martin Denny tiki sounds etc..

THAT would be awesome. I know Andrew Liles (current producer and musician for Current 93) has expressed interest in experimenting with 5.1 before, but I dont think that led to anything (yet!).. That whole genre is criminally underrepresented in multichannel, I think it would lend itself so well.

EDIT: Forgot to mention Liles also has worked with our favorite Steven Wilson during one of his Bass Communion projects.

I know right?
It would be ideal in surround
Seems to be a massive oversight in surround releases

David Sylvian - Dead Bees On A Cake
Earth, Wind & Fire - Now Then & Forever

I heard “You Can Call Me Al” the other day, and it occurred to me that the Graceland album had so much going on in terms of instrumentation & vocals that it could sound amazing “opened up” in Atmos 😁
PS doesn't dig Surround (allegedly) 👀 the late, great (fabulous!! 🙌 ) Phil Ramone pitched a 5.1 of "Graceland" to him (allegedly) and got knocked back (allegedly) 😩🤷🏻‍♀️
