Sounds as if you've raised one cool kid! Well, the apple don't fall far from the tree, eh? I've been following this guy since 2012 (i think!) when a cool student of mine turned me on to him!

Yeah, he acquired a deep love of music from me. He's a cool guy. He's my youngest, at 30. We spent many hours analyzing music in my music room. He's a much deeper thinker than I am...which is scary honestly.

Hey Clement does your pressing of LZ II replicate the deep bass of the original withdrawn first Lp issue? Ive never heard it but its sought after.
I have three RL copies of LZ II, and I can confirm that no other copy replicates the bass on that one. That being said, pretty much every version of that album sounds good, but not as good as that original pressing.

Thanks Syrinx
I have a Diamant CD of II the first issue. Dont know how the CDs compare to the original vinyl edition. Someday Ill find an RL copy.....

The RL pressing is in a league of it's own , a little different and very good is the 200grm Classic records pressing, all the remaining pressing are a very very large step down from those 2. But I've never had the
4 LP 45 RPM version so can't comment on that one

Clement giving us an education in record spinning.
Vinyl 101.A
Okay, let me say that Clement has a LOT to learn. Before i get into it, i should note that my wife just came in and wondered aloud–actually that should be ALOUD–why i had the music on so loud. I guess all of these years of live music, headphones, and general atrophy have left me with questionable hearing! My wife is 11 years my junior, and she has not abused her hearing as i have. Any hoo, i'm leading up to say that i checked out the YouTube channel i found when trying to answer a question for @Perpendicular , and of course Mike covered the best pressing of Led Zeppelin II:

Most edifying! I'm going to be on the lookout (listenout?) for the coveted (Houses of the) Holy Grail of LZII pressings! And maybe go for a hearing test! I'll keep you posted. Until then, just a quick thank you to EVERYONE on QQ for keeping me going and engaged during these trying times. You all are the BEST!
