Seems like everyone’s getting something different.

I got one ship notice for just Randy Newman. Then got a second notice a few minutes after that for AWB, Spinners, and Van Morrison’s Moondance. But the War disc was not included.

Update: just got a 3rd notification for just the War disc shipping. So now everything ordered is on the way.

Where's Randy Newman? Why not ship them all at once?

Rhino's fulfillment contractor really sucks ass. I had major problems with the first Quadios last year, took forever to get Alice Cooper and Red Octopus. From now on, I can wait a few weeks before I order any upcoming Quads.

I got a ship notice for AWB, War, and the Sabbath I ordered. But not the Randy Newman. All different tracking numbers. How strange.

Is it possible it's cheaper to ship them individually instead of a single package?

As i still haven’t received my shipping notice yet (ordered 1am on Friday and live in VA), I emailed Rhink and received this not very comforting response. As I said earlier, they really need to find a new fulfillment company as this should not be this hard.

This bundle not really in tune with, have to listen on youtube to the Newman and AWB to the songs I don't know to see if I might go for either. Christmas pay down..LOL. Guess I'll never see one favs, was hoping for Rod Stweart - Atlantic Crossing, but someone posted here about 2 months ago that it seems Rod isn't interested in releasing his old Quad AlbumS, didn't know there was more than one., just saw a cover of A.C. with Quadradisc logo in my old Quad newsletter towards the end of Quad era.

I got lucky and just nabbed the Aretha quad for $50 on Discogs!

It does make one wonder why they don’t spend a half day - two days in advance with two people packing up 4-disc Quadio bundles, like 500 - 600 sets all ready for shipping labels. Then on the release day you hand over the printed out address labels (with only 4-disc bundles) to the person with 500 4-bundle sets sitting there, and stick those labels on the packs, and load them into the mailing bins. All bundles of the current four Quadios get that first day shipping!

This takes a ton of stress off of the rest of the Quadio orders being prepared. Even if it’s just 125 bundles ordered on that first day, you’ve got those other packs all prepared and ready for future orders of just the bundle packs.

I ran a web/mail order operation for an artist’s label. I knew that when we had our new releases coming it would be intense for a few weeks. I absolutely hated having to ship out orders that were split between a couple of packages. It was a real time waster - forget the cost increase involved.

Oh they were going for $24.99 + shipping for several or more long months there at the end of the run. Everyone had the chance at that title if interested (and if they were into surround at that time).

Welp, I got up this morning greated by 3 shipping notices from Rhino. War shipped alone and AWB and Gil shipped together. MOP shipped separately as it is vinyl.
I guess I am different, as all I bought was rock, in quad, during the 70's.
Every Friday, with a fresh paycheck in my pocket, I stopped at my local record store to pick up 1 vinyl.
So basically, Iam saying, I appreciate Rhino expanding my musical interests, because ANYTHING sounds better in Quad(io)
Btw, also got another quad shipping notice. From a different vendor. Iam still pissed at myself for missing the re-release of A Space in Time

Easy enough to pick this up on eBay without paying too much in scalper tax if you're patient. Recently a couple sold for £40 and one for £35 on UK eBay which ain't too bad a price if you really want it.

I just don't get it. I NEVER get shipping notifications from Rhino, yes I have an account. Yet, I find it by looking at my USPS informed delivery. Makes zero sense.

I asked the question....and was told the Dig! Store did not take any from this batch.

It would be great if Rhino could implement the pre-paying of tax for UK (and other non-US countries if that's popular enough). I assume they have to do it by state for the US, so a few more areas on the list to find the relevant tax rate can't be too difficult. If that's a request/ suggestion you can pass on, that would be great. I have recently started using CDJapan after somebody here mentioned they are now set up to pre-pay tax. Paying at this end involves a fee which can be a hassle and also more than the tax due.
