Thank you for the heads up.

I wish it were available just the Blu-ray in a super jewel box like the Rhino Quadio discs. Indeed I wish SDE, Cherry Red, Rhino* et al would release their Blu-ray discs in super jewel boxes like the Rhino Quadio discs. I have run out of storage space for all the ancillary books, CDs, LPs, marbles, etcetera.

* I have just received from Rhino four Blu-ray discs (Seal, Carly Simon, Hootie & The Blowfish, Chicago) in High Fidelity Pure Audio cases - they don't fit on the shelves.

You are welcome 👍
You are not alone, I expect their sales would go through the roof if these companies issued stand alone Blu-rays.
I wonder what the profit margin is for these box sets?

Shelf space!!

What's that?😁

I keep shuffling the collection around to make some imaginary room. 🤔

On occasion, when the packaging is truly bizarre, I repackage the stuff so it fits. I have several mulri-disc “collections” in one case that were never released that way.

It’s mostly movies, but I’m definitely not above taking scans of 7” CD releases and printing out CD cases for them.

This is a shame. I remember when the album first came out. I remember that it was pretty underwhelming. Being a big Beatles fan and completest, I expected something a bit more commercial from George. The single was OK, but not historic. Try Some Buy Some was the Ronnie Spector single that tanked on Apple. Sue Me, Sue You was kinda funny, but to me, the best and most commercial tune was "Don't Let Me Wait Too Long", which should have been a single for George. It would certainly have gotten airplay.

So, with the above in mind, I will have to pass on this thing, as I am POSITIVE they will not sell what they expect to sell, and it will be on amazon later for around $100 if not less, or maybe even a deal on UDiscover Music.

This one is clearly a 'wait it out' release for me

I might have considered this at the initial price if I was inspired by the remix of All Things Must Pass, but I didn’t really find it to be that great. I don’t recall if I rated that one in a poll (and it would be really embarrassing if it turns out I gave it a 9 or something). And I have never heard the album. No one seems too enthusiastic about it though I love the single. So…will wait for reviews, and will wait for a price drop.
