I checked my Amazon.com purchases since Jan 1, 2018 (20 months worth.) Want to know how many music purchases Mrs. Surround and I have made from them? Three. And one of them was for a $7 CD. The above quotes explain why...pricing gymnastics.

Yea, valid point. But usually I just pre-order on day of announcement. No matter how much the price drops you’re guaranteed the lowest price.

I’ve had a couple of bad packaging experiences with importcds, so I try to avoid using them

I think the code worked. I paid the same. The 10% off essentially offset my sales tax and shipping charge.

I've had damaged packages from just about every vendor including numerous cracked CD cases from Dutton Vocalion. IMO, it's NOT the vendor but the haphazard way in which the various postal carriers handle the packages. ImportCD doesn't send out damaged parcels from their warehouses ....... have you ever seen any of these expose TV News shows exposing UPS carriers flinging packages all around and bouncing them on the ground?

Same. And at 5-10% lower price than any other vendor, so far, I'm comfortable taking my chances that I'll get a clean copy from importcds. Otherwise, I'll go down the rebate/return route with them.
I really would like to hear the surround mixes ASAP though.
