@quicksrt, I must have gotten the date wrong. I didn’t have the energy to look up the post where we talked about it previously, so forgive the misinformation.
Foraging Rhino didn’t confirm directly the release of MOL, but I thought he came really close earlier in this thread when he mentioned alternate takes on some set, so I’m hoping real hard. 😁 If I’m wrong, it’s money saved for another Quadio.
I think your right, and I think MOL is coming with quad, (and an "alternate album" of outtakes is to be included).
It's just the date of release I never saw confirmed. Just supposed to be in Oct. I need that date confirmed!!!

The four titles confirmed by foraging rhino are:
Foghat - Energized
Jefferson Starship - Dragon Fly
Doobie Brothers - Toulouse Street
J. Geils Band - Bloodshot
Wow, two unreleased Rocker Quads! I can’t wait to buy and collect them. It will be interesting to hear the mixes for the first time.
Had Foghat “Energized” and J. Geils Band “Bloodshot” been released in the 1970s, I’m sure they would have been at the top of our favorite Quad records and Tapes.
I’m also looking forward to Jefferson Starship “Dragon Fly.” A must have. And we’re glad that those who missed out on the Doobie Brothers box set are now able to buy “Toulouse Street,” another Quad winner.

Meh. For those who already have the Doobies Quadio box and who aren't into rock these are slim pickin's. Hoping for a more varied group next time around, maybe a James Taylor or David Gates?
Now that Starship has been given a second released album, it might not be that long until another S&C, or Gordon Lightfoot arrive with that James Taylor title. So, is the Doobie's disc the same mastering as in the box set? I am assuming so.
It's great for those who missed out on the box set, but for those who have the box set, makes no sense (to me anyway) to buy the same title again.
And that sort of breaks up the "auto-buy" of the complete bundle on release day for me.
In my opinion, it would have been maybe better to re-release all the Doobie Quadios in one bundle, then those who already have the box could skip that bundle, and others who missed out the first time around would have the chance to get all the discs in one go.
So now, people who already have the Doobies box will either purchase the same disc again or simply wait (like me), and others who don't have the box set now only get one title and have to wait for the other ones to get a re-release.
I am happy about the other three titles, but I am not sure if this is the best approach for re-releasing the Doobie disc(s).

I do not have the Doobies box set. I am glad they are re-releasing for those who were not able to get it. Of the four titles being released, this is the one I am most interested in.
I'm in that same boat. Can't afford all the best components, but I still like great sound. My receiver is 24 years old, but has analog multichannel inputs, and still sounds as great today as it did then, I've changed speakers a few times, but the Polks I'm using now are terrific. This time around, on the Quadio releases, there's only one that interests me. I already have it; it's the Doobie Brothers' box set, so "Toulouse Street" is already in my collection. What I'm really looking forward to is the Atmos mixes of all of ABBA's studio albums. I'm hoping they'll be released on BD-A, although it's possible they'll be downloads only. Time will tell. (Not seen in the picture are my SM V.3; Pro-Ject Phono Box 2; Polk speakers. Barely seen is my Technics 1200mk2, with Denon DL-110 cartridge (among several others).

"The Best of Bread" was already released by Audio Fidelity a while back. Rhino may be taking that into account.
The Doobies being a repeat and thus a disc out of the four to be declined as a purchase is only an issue for those that have bought every Quadio since the first bundle. Others who skipped a jazz title or Bette Midler or another BR can go back and snap up one of the other previous ones they are missing in the collection.
If they have all Quadios in every bundle I would grab one of the Pure Audio BluRay releases like No Secrets.

I have owned three sets of main speakers in my entire life, and two sets of surround speakers. I still have the turntable I bought in 1968, so I tend to hang on to stuff for a long time.
Yeah, the latest Rhino releases aren’t making me run to their website, either. Maybe Starship, but I’ll preview what I can on YT before I add to the stack.
Have you seen the price of a used BoB? 😳
My guess is that it would sell really well, especially if they added a track like Guitar Man. 🙂
